Netflix has reportedly announced the renewal of its acclaimed new animated series Castlevania: Nocturne for a second season, just one week after the first season was released. Based on the Konami game, Castlevania: Nocturne is set in 18th century France and features Richter Belmont as the protagonist. It tells the story of a group of nobles joining forces with the evil vampire savior. In these eight episodes, Belmont will lead the battle against the vampire savior. "Thank you to all the Castlevania fans old and new for your enthusiastic response and support of this work! We are excited to present more Castlevania: Nocturne and tell the next chapter of Richter Belmont's rise to power," said the series' creators and co-showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde.
