"Oppenheimer" becomes the box office champion of biographical films in film history, surpassing "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Nolan's new film "Oppenheimer" has surpassed the 2018 "Bohemian Rhapsody" with a total box office of $910.8 million worldwide, becoming the box office champion of biographical films in film history. Oscar winner Rami Malek starred in both of these biographical box office champions and runner-ups.

"Oppenheimer" is also the third work this year to exceed the $900 million global box office mark, second only to "Barbie" and "Super Mario Bros. Movie". It is also Nolan's third best-selling film. Among his directorial works, its global box office performance is second only to "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Batman: The Dark Knight".

As of the end of this week, "Oppenheimer" has grossed approximately $912 million worldwide, of which approximately $590 million was outside North America, including 380 million yuan in mainland China.
