The spirit of the classic anime "Captain Tsubasa" has already spread to countries around the world. Recently, the Bangkok government of Thailand announced that it has renovated a five-a-side football field in Dindaeng district. The ground was decorated with huge "Captain Tsubasa" illustrations, which attracted attention. The original author, Yoichi Takahashi, was invited to participate in the design.

"Captain Tsubasa" is a Japanese manga created by Takahashi Yoichi, which is very popular in Japan and abroad. The work debuted in 1983 and tells the story of a young boy named Ozora Tsubasa (nickname: Tsubasa) with superb football skills from the sixth grade of elementary school to his entry into professional football.

As a Japanese cartoon with football as its theme, its influence not only promoted the development of Japanese football, but also made many people like football because of it. It deeply influenced most people born in the 1980s and 1990s.

The official said that the reason why the Bangkok five-a-side football field uses the "Captain Tsubasa" paint scheme is that the original work has provided spiritual support to many athletes, and more similar facilities will be implemented in the future.
