Tokiro Dan, actor who played Hideki Go in Ultraman Jack, dies at 74

According to the agency Alpha Agency, Tokiro Dan, who played the protagonist Go Hideki (Ultraman Jack's human form) in the special drama "Return of Ultraman/Ultraman Jack", died of lung cancer at 4:14 pm on March 22 at the age of 74. According to the agency's representative director, Tokiro Dan was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017, and his condition began to deteriorate at the end of last year. His funeral will be held by close relatives.

Tokiro Dan was once an exclusive model for Seido and starred in the male cosmetics MG5 advertisement. In 1971, he played the protagonist Go Hideki in "Ultraman Jack" and became famous in Japan. His representative works include: "Ultraman Jack" in 1971, "Ultraman Mebius and the Ultra Brothers" in 2006, "The Great Battle! Ultraman 8 Brothers" in 2008, and "Ultraman Legend" in 2012.
