"The Burial of Furillian" is among the top ten visual novels for adults in the American Library Association

The American Library Association's Visual Novel and Manga Roundtable (GNCRT) recently announced the list of the best adult visual novels to read in 2022, and the top ten include "The Burial of Frielian", written by Yamada Chongren and illustrated by Abe Tsukasa.

Other comics in the complete list include Ito Junji's "Black Conspiracy", Yamada Yukari's "Lonely Cinderella" and Igarashi Daisuke's "Witch". The above are all relatively old works, and "The Burial of Frielian" is much younger in comparison.

"The Burial of Frielian" first began serialization in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday in April 2020. The 9th volume of the manga was released in September 2022. The manga is currently on hiatus from January 1. The adapted TV anime will also be broadcast this year.
