Deadpool actor: Deadpool is more likely to appear as a supporting role in the future

Ryan Reynolds, the famous Deadpool actor in Marvel, said that although "Deadpool and Wolverine" was a great success and the global box office exceeded 1 billion US dollars, there is a high probability that there will be no more Deadpool independent movies in the future.

"I don't know what the future holds for Deadpool, but I do know that Sean (Levy) and I made a movie that has a beginning, a middle and an end and is a complete experience, not an advertisement for another movie," Reynolds told The Amazing Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield during an appearance on Variety's "Actors on Actors." "I think there should be room for movies that stand on their own."

"The thing is, I think of Deadpool as more of a supporting character than a main character because he's invincible unless you take everything away from him. You have to create a situation where he becomes the underdog, and I don't think we can do that again, so I think if he does come back, it'll be in someone else's movie - Channing Tatum, for example - and he's happy to play Gambit, and I'd be happy to be a supporting character in his movie, or in someone else's."
