Nintendo releases poster of Mario, the protagonist of "Super Mario Bros." Movie"

"Super Mario Bros. Movie", a collaboration between Nintendo and Illumination Entertainment, has released its second movie poster. What's different about this poster is that it puts the spotlight on the movie's protagonist Mario. We can see the jumping movements that the Italian plumber has had since the FC-era games.

"Super Mario Bros. The Movie" is a 2023 American-Japanese co-produced computer-animated comedy film, co-produced by Illumination Entertainment and Nintendo and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film is adapted from Nintendo's "Mario" game series, co-directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, and written by Matthew Fogel. The main voice actors include Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson and Sebastian Maniscalco.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to hit theaters on April 7.
