The new original animation "Zenxiu." created by MAPPA had released a preview visual in the first half of this year. Recently, the official finally released the main trailer and announced that the animation is expected to officially start broadcasting in January 2025.

It is understood that "Zenxiu." will be directed by Mitsue Yamazaki, with Kimiko Ueno responsible for the script, Yoshiki Tsujino responsible for the original character design and world view setting, Kayoko Ishikawa as the character designer and general animation supervisor, and Yukari Hashimoto as the music director.

In terms of voice actors, the protagonist Hirose Natsuko is voiced by Nagase Anna, the protagonist of the play-within-the-play, Ruku Breibuhard, is voiced by Urawa Nozomi, and Unio is voiced by Kugimiya Rie.

In terms of the plot, "Zenxiu." tells the story of the heroine Natsuko Hirose, who is a budding animation director after graduating from high school, but she encountered creative difficulties when creating her latest work. Because she has no experience in love, she cannot depict works with the theme of "first love", which also makes the film production difficult.

As a result, Natsuko Hirose collapsed due to an emergency one day. When she woke up again, she found that she had been reincarnated into the world of her previous work "A Story to Destruction". In order to change the dark ending of the original work, Natsuko Hirose will face unprecedented challenges.
