Bella Ramsey, who plays Ellie in The Last of Us, believes that a second season is very likely. In an interview with the BBC, Ramsey said that the show is "very likely" to be filmed for a second season.

“If the audience likes it, I think the possibility is very high,” she said. “Of course, it depends on HBO.”

That is to say, HBO has not officially given the green light for Season 2. Ramsey said: "Nothing is confirmed yet, we have to wait and see."

The first two episodes of "The Last of Us" had very good ratings, with the total number of viewers for the first episode reaching 18 million, and the second episode premiere reaching 5.7 million viewers.
