Netflix cancels renewal of hit British drama "Forbidden Child" after just one season

Netflix's British drama "Forbidden Child" premiered on October 28 this year, but the official has announced that after only one season, the show will not be renewed for a second season.

Production company Imaginarium said on Twitter: "Forbidden Son is a series we are very proud of, it has received stellar reviews and has a very loyal fan base around the world."

“While we are disappointed that we can’t continue this story, we are excited to be working with the incredibly talented cast and team to bring the show we love so much to life.”

Based on the Half Bad trilogy by Sally Green, the series follows a 16-year-old boy named Nathan. He is the son of the world's most fearsome wizard, a man who gains his powers at the age of 17 in a magical world. As his birthday approaches, he fears he will become as evil as his father.
