Better Call Saul starring in the movie "Little People 2" is likely to start filming next year

The action-comedy "Nobody," starring Bob Odenkirk, introduced a comedy icon from the action film industry and became a hit last year. Directed by "Henry" director Ilya Naishuller and written by "John Wick" creator Derek Kolstad, "Nobody" tells the story of a mild-mannered family man who returns to his dangerous former life after his house is robbed, making him the target of a drug lord's vengeance.

Although Kolstad has said that despite the possibility of a crossover between the Lionsgate and Universal-produced John Wick series and Little Shots, having created both and having connections with producers of both, there have been few rumors of a confirmed sequel. Even though Kolstad is writing the script and even 87Productions tweeted how excited they are about Little Shots 2, the film has yet to be officially confirmed.

In an interview with Collider at the press event for Violent Night , producer Kelly McCormick, who is married to John Wick co-creator David Leitch, gave an update on the status of the Little People sequel and her prospects for possible future series.

"If all goes well, we're hoping to finish Little Shots 2 next year," she said. "So our theory is you don't need to make a good sequel just to make a sequel. We need to make the best sequel possible. So this is about making sure we get it right. If we succeed, I think we're very hopeful that we can start shooting next year."

Little Shots grossed $27.6 million in the United States and Canada and $29.9 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $57.5 million, against a production budget of $16 million.
