Two Japanese film commentators prosecuted and fined 500 million yen

Today, November 17, the case in which Toho Pictures and 13 other film companies jointly sued two publishers of movie commentary short videos, which had previously caused a sensation, was officially pronounced, and the two defendants were fined 500 million yen.

•In May of this year, 13 Japanese film-related companies including Toho Pictures jointly sued the two men, claiming a huge amount of 500 million yen. The algorithm for claiming the huge amount of money is simple and effective, because the criminals' movie commentary videos have a total of 10,274,711 clicks, and based on the calculation of a loss of 200 yen per click, the actual amount of loss claimed by Toho Pictures and other 13 companies has exceeded 2 billion yen.

•The compensation amount in this lawsuit is only the minimum estimate, which has been approved by the court. Currently, the two defendants have not made any comments or follow-up moves.
