Jennifer Lawrence withdraws from new film "Bad Blood" adapted from the 'Female Jobs' scam

Jennifer Lawrence will not be starring in Bad Blood, the new film from Don't Look Up director Adam McKay, according to a New York Times reporter.

Journalist Kyle Buchanan tweeted: "She came to this conclusion after watching Holmes, played by Amanda Seyfried in The Dropout. 'I thought she was great and I was like: Yeah, we don't need to do this again. She's already done it.'"

Bad Blood is one of two projects announced during the trial of infamous Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, a biopic written and directed by McKay based on the bestselling book Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies About a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou, and The Dropout, a Hulu miniseries-style biopic based on the blog of the same name.

The Dropout was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Actress in a Limited/Anthology Series/Movie for Seyfried.

However, Buchanan said that Lawrence still wore Holmes's iconic black high-top when she was interviewed. Lawrence said: "I tried a hundred suits for this, and I always ended up looking like Steve Jobs. Or Amanda Seyfried."
