Story summary:

In the thrilling action film Flight Down, pilot Brody Torrence (Gerard Butler) takes a risky landing on a war-torn island to save his passengers from a lightning strike - only to find that surviving the landing is just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrence can rely on is accused murderer Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), who is being escorted by the FBI. To rescue the passengers, Torrence will need Gaspare's help and will learn Gaspare's secrets.
