Empire magazine recently shared the first set photo of the sequel to the sci-fi action film TRON: Legacy, TRON: War, on social media.

Joachim Rønning, the director of the film, also revealed to the magazine that the film "has music by Nine Inch Nails, and this one will be darker and more industrial. For me, it was very important to contrast the real world of The Grid. In that sense, Nine Inch Nails fits perfectly into this new world we are creating."

According to the official introduction, "Tron: God of War" tells the story of a highly complex program "Ares" being sent from the digital world to the real world star on a dangerous mission, which marks the first contact between humans and AI life in this worldview.

The cast includes Jared Leto (Joker in Suicide Squad) as Ares, Evan Peters (Quicksilver in X-Men) as Julian Dillinger, etc. The film is currently scheduled to be released on October 10, 2025.
