Disney will make a live-action version of "One Thousand and One Nights". Are you looking forward to it?

According to a recent report by foreign media Deadline, Disney will make a live-action film full of fantasy and science fiction, which is inspired by the classic Middle Eastern folk tale "One Thousand and One Nights". The film is tentatively named "One Thousand and One Nights" and will be written and produced by Arash Amer, the screenwriter of "The Way of Kings".

The plot details of the live-action version of "One Thousand and One Nights" are kept secret. It will be an original work that draws materials from ancient folk tales and is an independent IP that has nothing to do with any existing Disney assets ("Aladdin", etc.).

"One Thousand and One Nights", also known as "Arabian Nights", is a collection of stories that first appeared in the ancient Persian civilization era and the subsequent Arab era. It includes history, love, tragedy, drama, poetry, etc. It tells stories about gods, corpse snatchers, apes, sorcerers, magic, epics, etc. Famous ones include "Aladdin's Magic Lamp", "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "Sinbad the Navigator".
