HBO released a mixed-cut trailer video of several of its TV series, including "The Last of Us" adapted from the game. In the trailer, we can see many iconic characters including Joel and Ellie. Trailer for The Last of Us (1:43-2:03): Ellie says in the trailer: "Everyone I care about is either dead or gone", to which Joel can be heard responding: "You don't know what loss is." The trailer features many famous scenes from the game, including Joel teaching Ellie how to shoot. HBO has not yet given a firm release date for The Last of Us, but according to the production company, the series could be released in 2023. The first season will continue the original story, but will "significantly deviate" from the games in some important ways. Video screenshots: |
