Although Tom Hardy has just said goodbye to the "Venom" series of movies, he has made his first appearance in a comic book without stopping, and it is the dark horse science fiction comic "Arcbound". As the first issue of "Arcbound" is about to hit the shelves in stores, IGN has exclusively revealed a preview of the comic. Arcbound is a 12-issue series created by Scott Snyder (Batman Absolute) and Frank Tieri (Punisher in Space), with Tom Hardy also contributing. The series is illustrated by Ryan Smallman, colored by Frank William, and written by Buddy Beaudoin. The first issue also features variant covers by Ryan Ottley, Clay Mann, Tyler Kirkham, Rose Besch, and Dan Panosian. Here’s Dark Horse Comics’ official description of Arcbound: In a future where Earth has become a desolate wasteland, Zynitec harnesses unrivaled Kronium energy to dominate the entire planet. When Kai, a rising mediator in the Zynitec military, receives unexplainable messages from a mysterious entity, everything he thought he believed is called into question - forcing him to explore what it truly means to be human in a world where the lines between technology and identity blur. The first issue of Arcbound will be released on November 13, 2024. |
