The trailer turned into a fake trailer! The director of "Avengers 4" admitted that the trailer was fake

If you have watched the trailer for Avengers 4, then no matter what you infer, it is meaningless, because the trailer is basically a "trailer cheat". Recently, the Russo brothers, the directors of Avengers 4, explained how they added shots that were not used in the end to the trailer to prevent "plot surprises".

According to foreign media ComingSoon.net, the Russo brothers recently accepted an interview with the British magazine Empire, saying that it was important for them to get rid of spoilers and surprises in the film's marketing.

Joe Russo said: "We discussed all the marketing, big and small, and the most important thing for us is that we prevent surprises in the plot. When I was a kid, I turned on the TV at 11 o'clock in the morning and saw Star Wars: Episode II, and I was deeply moved by the movie because I didn't know the story of the movie at all. So we are trying to replicate that experience now ."

Joe has spoken about this before, explaining how they used all the material they had to create a trailer. "We treat trailers as a very different experience than the movie. I think audiences are so predictable now that you have to be very smart about how you create a trailer because an audience can know what the movie is going to be about after watching it ."

A typical example is in the trailer of "Avengers 3", where you can see the Hulk running with other superheroes, but in fact there is no such scene in the feature film, but the purpose of deception is still achieved.

“We consume so much content that we have a lot of different shots that didn’t make it into the feature film. We were able to manipulate those shots through CGI and tell a story that we told specifically for a trailer rather than the film itself.”
