The movie "Shin Ultraman" released a short documentary behind the scenes of motion capture, which mainly shows the production process of the iconic "Spaceum Ray". Producer Hideaki Anno personally participated in the motion capture.

"Shin Ultraman" is a modern "reboot" movie based on the special drama "Ultraman" directed by Eiji Tsuburaya in 1966 to celebrate the 55th anniversary of "Ultraman" and the Ultraman series. The film was produced by the production team of "Shin Godzilla" (2016), planned and written by Hideaki Anno, and starred by Takumi Saito, Masami Nagasawa, Hidetoshi Nishijima and others.
