According to foreign media Filmwrap, "Top Gun 2" has now grossed over $800 million worldwide, becoming Cruise's highest-grossing film worldwide. This also means that "Top Gun 2" has officially surpassed "The Watergate Bridge at the Battle of Changjin Lake" starring Wu Jing, Yi Yangqianxi, and Li Chen to rank third in the global annual box office.

According to Boxofficemojo, Top Gun 2 grossed over $400 million domestically and $384 million internationally, for a total of $817 million.
