The villain becomes the protagonist? Netflix's new animation "Sonic Prime" is about to be broadcast

SEGA released new information about the two games through the Sonic Central 2022 live event held early this morning (June 8). It also confirmed that it will broadcast a new Sonic series adaptation animated series "Sonic Prime" through Netflix. The following is a trailer for the show.

Judging from the trailer, Sonic Prime takes a completely different route from the two Sonic movies. The scenes and characters of this animation seem to be closer to the style of the Sonic series of games, instead of using real human actors as in the movie version. In addition, Shadow, who first appeared in the DC game Sonic Adventure 2, appears, and it seems that he will play an important role in the animation.
