'Scream' actress joins live-action adaptation of 'Chariots of Fire'

According to Deadline, Neve Campbell, the heroine of the "Scream" series, will play the role of Raven in the live-action adaptation of "Chariots of Fire".

Raven first appeared in Twisted Metal Black (the fifth game in the series) as a gothic character who hates conformity and drives a hearse named Shadow.

In addition to Campbell, a series of actors have joined the series, including male lead Anthony Mackie, Thomas Haden Church and Stephanie Beatriz.

In Chariots of Fire, MacKay will play John Doe, a man with amnesia who talks as fast as he drives. Doe must drive through a post-apocalyptic wasteland to deliver supplies to the Outpost, aided by car thief Quiet while being pursued by patrol officer Agent Stone.

Peacock announced the live-action series "Chariots of Fire" in February this year. It is also the second TV series adapted by Sony PlayStation Productions. The first is "The Last of Us", produced by HBO.
