Cameron calls it his best film! New pictures of Avatar 3: Fire and Embers released

"Avatar 3: Fire and Embers" released new concept art photos today, in which the protagonist's second son Locke is riding an Ilu in the water, with some other marine creatures next to him.

It is reported that "Avatar 3: Fire and Ash" will be released in North America on December 19, 2025. Judging from the situation of the previous two films, it is also expected to be released in mainland China at the same time.

Director James Cameron recently said that the third film might be the best yet.

He said that the film had been screened on a small scale and the audience feedback was good: "I have shown this movie to a group of selected people. It is definitely the one with the best emotional feedback among the three "Avatar" films so far, and it may be the best of the three. We will have to wait and see about this, but I feel very good about this one, and the actors' performances are also excellent."

It is reported that new ethnic groups will appear in the third part: "Grays" and "Air Merchants".

Among them, the Grays are a reflection of the bad side of the Na'vi, led by Varang, played by Oona Chaplin.

Cameron introduced: "She is willing to do anything for her people, even things we think are evil. She is the enemy."

He once mentioned: "So far I have only shown the good side of the Na'vi. The first two movies were negative human examples and very positive Na'vi examples. In Avatar 3, we will do the opposite."

Cameron has previously revealed that the big progress of "Avatar 3" will be the depth of the characters, there will be new cultures, new creatures, but more importantly, it will "go into the hearts and souls of the characters, and there will be very interesting new characters joining.
