Dean Zimmerman, co-editor of "Deadpool vs. Wolverine", recently revealed in an interview with foreign media "CinemaBlend" how the Easter egg of the Human Torch at the end of the movie was created. Zimmerman recalled that they were filming on the streets of New York before, and Chris Evans, who played the Human Torch in "Fantastic Four" and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also came to the street, but he just came to say hello. "We first met, and we were sitting in a barbershop on New York Street," Zimmerman said. "Ryan said, 'Hey Chris, I have an idea for how you want to end the show. You say some lines here, but here's what you're going to say, and I'm going to repeat it later. Are you willing to do it?'" “[Chris Evans] said, ‘Whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it.’ He actually had those slips of paper that day! Chris read them and memorized the lines, like, in one take. He did it a couple of times, and that was it.” In the movie "Deadpool vs. Wolverine", the Human Torch was instantly killed by Cassandra Nova Xavier after Deadpool relayed his complaints about the villain Cassandra Nova Xavier. But at the end of the movie, Deadpool came forward to prove that the words he relayed did come from the Human Torch's mouth, and he did not intend to kill him. With the release of Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds also paid tribute to Chris Evans, calling him "one of those movie stars who is better than you could ever hope to be" on Instagram. |
