Netflix Geek Week will be held in June, and the new DC series "Sandman" will have more content presentations

Streaming platform Netflix has turned its Geeked Week showcase of upcoming movies and shows into an annual event, following its debut last year. While the 2022 show is still a few weeks away, this week's reveals and new trailers for the announcements are sure to make the wait seem worth it.

Geek Week Preview:

During the five days of Geeked Week, Netflix will spotlight more than 60 different projects currently in development, including season 3 of The Umbrella Academy, season 4 of Stranger Things, Resident Evil, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. In addition to these series, a new trailer for Geeked Week also showcases a number of new shots from Netflix's live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman series, starring Tom Sturridge as Dream and Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer.

Since Netflix has a lot planned for Geek Week, the streamer wisely chose to dedicate each day of the event to a different type of content: series, movies, animation, a whole day dedicated to Stranger Things, and the final day will showcase some of Netflix's upcoming games.

Netflix Geeked Week will take place from June 6th to June 10th.
