The first official trailer of the most expensive American TV series "Lord of the Rings" will be released on February 14

The first trailer for Amazon's most expensive American TV series in history, "The Lord of the Rings", will be released during the Super Bowl on February 13th local time (9 am on February 14th Beijing time). Previously released trailers were all previews without official scenes from the show. This should be the official trailer.

The TV series "The Lord of the Rings" is set thousands of years before the film versions of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit". The first season cost more than 465 million US dollars to shoot, making it the most expensive TV series to date. It is expected to be launched on September 2.

Plot summary: "For the first time on film, this new Amazon series tells the heroic stories of the legendary Second Age of Middle-earth. Set thousands of years before the events of Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, this epic drama takes audiences back to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose and fell, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung on a thread, and Tolkien's most powerful villain threatens to bring darkness to all worlds.

The series begins in a time of relative peace, focusing on a group of characters - both familiar and new - who face an age-old fear: the return of evil to Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains, to the majestic forests of Lindon, to the breathtaking island nation of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map... these kingdoms and characters will carve up legends that will be told long after they are gone."
