The Last of Us Part II composer to work on HBO series adaptation

Neil Druckmann, game director of The Last of Us 2, announced that the game's composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, will join the HBO live-action series The Last of Us.

In addition to composing music for The Last of Us 1 and 2, Santaolalla has also composed music for movies and TV series such as Brokeback Mountain, Into the Wild, Making a Murderer, and Narcos: Mexico.

The live-action HBO series "The Last of Us" is written and produced by Craig Mazin, the creator and screenwriter of the HBO TV series "Chernobyl", and Neil Druckmann, vice president and creative director of Naughty Dog.
