Kodansha, one of the giants in Japan's manga publishing industry, announced the winners of its 46th "Kodansha Manga Award" on May 11. The recently popular manga are among the winners. They are divided into three categories: "Boys' Department", "Girls' Department" and "Comprehensive Department", and were selected from 14 candidate works.

•Kodansha was formerly known as Dai Nippon Yōbōkai Kodansha. It was founded in 1909 by Seiji Noma in Tokyo, Japan, and is a member of the Otowa Group. It is now Japan's largest comprehensive publishing house and copyright holder. It is one of the major manga publishers in Japan, and is known as the three major manga publishers in the Japanese publishing industry along with Shueisha and Shogakukan.
