HBO's The Last of Us is still filming, and a number of leaked videos and images have surfaced over the past year. Now more new footage has leaked online, giving us a deeper look at the battle between the Resistance and FEDRA (the game's remnant military and police organization). The Last of Us HBO series set video: From the video we can see that at first several trucks carrying what appear to be FEDRA soldiers enter the city center, followed by protesters. Then the footage becomes more violent, gunshots can be heard, flares can be seen, and the crowd keeps shouting "fuck you FEDRA". The video was shot on a cell phone in a nearby building, so it's not very clear, but it looks like we may learn more about how FEDRA fell in the TV series. Although The Last of Us begins with Joel and Ellie fleeing FEDRA forces, the faction has a hard time maintaining control of the Boston area due to the actions of Firefly. According to The Last of Us, most of the quarantined areas controlled by FEDRA were occupied by the resistance and Firefly before the start of the game, so this may be a flashback scene rather than a story about Joel and Ellie's journey. The Last of Us series has not yet completed production, and HBO has stated that it will not be aired in 2022. |
