"Fast and Furious" Producer: The scenes are too big and we should return to our original intentions

The Fast and the Furious series has gradually evolved from early racing + police and gangster themed movies to today's superhero + science fiction themed movies. The series is about to come to an end, and producer Neal Moritz believes that it is time for the Fast and the Furious series to make a sharp U-turn.

In an interview, Moritz introduced his career as a producer and expressed his expectations for the future of the Fast and Furious series. He believes that after years of trying big scenes, the series should become smaller.

"I felt like it should have been a little smaller, to be honest with you," Moritz said. "I wanted to go back to where the series started. I thought that was a good direction. I wanted to do a sharp turn. I wanted to try something a little different, and I think that's what fans want to see right now."

After 20 years and 10 movies, the series has expanded to a degree that the original fans could never have anticipated. The entire series is scheduled to end with the release of Fast & Furious 11 in February 2024.

It is not yet known whether the story of "Fast and Furious" will continue after 2024. Moritz thinks it should be done step by step: "Let's make a great movie first, and then think about what happens next."

"Fast & Furious 9" has already flown into space. Judging from the cast of "Fast & Furious 10", it is unlikely that the finale will return to the street racing plot of the first film.
