The selection objects are single-volume works published between January 1 and December 31, 2021, excluding works that have won the Manga Awards in the past, and medium-length and short-length manga works with a maximum number of 8 volumes. The original work of "The Darwin Incident" is Umezawa Shiyun. It tells the story of Charlie, a half-human, half-gorilla creature developed by a biological research institute. After being raised by a zoologist for 15 years, he finally enters a human high school.
