Emperor Motion Pictures announces 2022 film slate; Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Andy Lau team up again

Today, Emperor Films announced its 2022 film slate with a total investment of over 1.5 billion. The projects include:

"Gold Finger", with a HK$350 million investment, directed by Zhuang Wenqiang, and starring Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Andy Lau and Charlene Choi;

Starring Jacky Cheung, Nicholas Tse, Karena Lam, Catherine Liu, with a special performance by Francis Ng, and directed by Herman Yau;

"Insider" starring Aaron Kwok, Simon Yam, Raymond Lam, Alex Fong, and directed by Alan Mak;

Wei Jiahui and Liu Qingyun teamed up again for the crime action suspense blockbuster "Detective Wars";

Directed by Gu Changwei, starring Ge You and Wang Junkai, "Hedgehog";

A sequel to Zhang Yimou's film "On the Cliff" will be filmed.

In addition, Emperor Motion Pictures announced that it will fully support the Hong Kong film market and will invest in the production of more than a dozen other local films in the next two years to support Hong Kong creative talents and revitalize the industry.
