Marvel Girl responds to Captain Marvel 2's poor box office performance: That's none of my business

The new Marvel movie Captain Marvel 2 did not receive a good response after its release, and the box office was also very bleak, with a cumulative box office of only 54.8 million US dollars in the first week, setting a new record for the worst first weekend box office performance of the MCU. Recently, Iman Vellani, who plays Ms. Marvel in Captain Marvel 2, was interviewed by Yahoo Entertainment and talked about her views on the film's bleak box office performance. She said that the failure of the film was not her business, but a problem that Disney executives needed to consider.

Iman Virani said: "This is not something I can control, because what's the point? That's something Bob Iger (Disney CEO) needs to worry about. The box office has nothing to do with me. I'm happy with my performance and the people I care about like the movie. Watching movies is to have fun, and I think that's what watching movies is all about. This movie has superheroes, the story takes place in space, the content is not profound, it tells about teamwork and sisterhood. This is a fun movie and I'm very happy to share it with everyone."

Asked if she was bothered by the bad reviews for the film, Iman Vellani said: "I was alone in high school and whenever I tried to talk to other people, they wanted to shut me up. I don't want my fans to be treated like that, they can say whatever they want. If you are excited, say it, if you have constructive criticism, say it, and never live your life for others."

Captain Marvel 2 did not perform well after its release, which was indeed unrelated to the actors' performance. Iman Vellani also performed well in the movie, but did Marvel executives realize the problem?
