Japan's first manga character award announced, "Berserk" Guts wins special award

Today, March 16, the winners of Japan's first manga character award, the "Magademy Award 2021", were announced, and the best actor, actress and supporting actor were announced, and the Special Jury Award was won by Guts, the protagonist of "Berserk".

The Magademy Award is the first manga award in the Japanese manga industry to praise and thank manga characters. The recommended candidates are manga characters whose single volumes have been released in the past year. The Magademy Award 2021 specially invited Kendo Kobayashi as the chief special judge. The official announced the memorable first winner today.

•The Best Actor Award went to Kunou Masaru from "Don't Say It's Mystery", the Best Actress Award went to Yuna from "Princess of the Morning", the Best Supporting Actor Award went to Manjiro Sano from "Tokyo Bankai Avengers", and the Best Supporting Actress Award went to Wakamiya Shiharu from "Chihayafuru". The Special Judge Award went to Guts, the protagonist of the late Kentaro Miura's last work "Berserk".
