Polka Dot Man from "Suicide Squad" joins "Oppenheimer" and works with Nolan again after 15 years

David Dastmalchian joins Christopher Nolan's new film "Oppenheimer", which is their second collaboration after "The Dark Knight". This epic thriller about World War II has just started shooting. Cillian Murphy plays the protagonist - Robert Oppenheimer, the "father of the atomic bomb" in the United States, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and others starred. Nolan directed and wrote the film, which will be released in North America on July 21, 2023.

Dastmalchian first worked with Nolan in 2007’s The Dark Knight, playing one of the Joker’s henchmen. He has since appeared in several of Villeneuve’s films, including the previous Blade Runner 2049 and last year’s Dune; and for superhero fans, he’s also appeared in Ant-Man and played the Polka Dot Man in Suicide Squad.
