"Muv-Luv Alternative" anime version new PV released

aNCHOR recently released a new trailer for the animation "Muv-Luv Alternative". This animation will be directly based on the main storyline of "Muv-Luv" and tell the tragic history of mankind's fight against BETA.

The animation will be produced by FLAGHSIP LINE and Yumeta x Graphinica.

The trailer shows off plenty of mecha action, including the iconic training battle scene of the Type-97 Fubuki. In addition to that, we finally get our first look at the animated character designs of Shirogane Takeshi (CV: Kamiki Koichi), Kan Junka (CV: Kusunoki Touma), and Mitsurugi Meiya (CV: Naha Karin). The voice actor lineup is all new, rather than the original voice actor lineup from the original visual novel, probably because the creators want the Muv-Luv series to remain vibrant.

The "Muv-Luv Alternative" animation will be aired in October.
