76-year-old Stallone stars in superhero movie "Samaritan" which will be released on Amazon on August 26

Following "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", 76-year-old Sylvester Stallone is starring in a superhero movie again. "Samaritan" starring him has been announced to be released on Amazon streaming on August 26. The film is directed by Julius Avery, the director of "Overlord", and produced by MGM.

The film tells the story of 13-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon Walton) who suspects his neighbor, Mr. Smith (Sylvester Stallone), is a hidden legend. Twenty years ago, Smith was Granite City's superpowered vigilante, Samaritan, who was thought dead after a fierce battle with his rival, but Sam hopes he is still alive.

With crime rates on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam wants to call the mysterious neighbor out of hiding to save the city from destruction.
