Hisaishi's "My Neighbor Totoro" stage play won five London drama awards

"My Neighbor Totoro" was proposed and planned by the famous composer Joe Hisaishi and approved by Hayao Miyazaki. The stage play "My Neighbor Totoro" recently toured London and won five awards at the 23rd "WhatsOnStage Awards", and was well received by the audience.

The "My Neighbor Totoro" stage play was originally proposed by Joe Hisaishi and soon won the approval of his old friend Hayao Miyazaki. It was created by the famous British drama company Royal Shakespeare Company and Nippon Television. It toured in London from October 2022 to the end of January 2023 and received extremely high praise.

The stage play "My Neighbor Totoro" won five awards at the 23rd "WhatsOnStage Awards", including the Best Play Award, the Most Effective Music Director Award, the Best Stage Art Award, the Best Lighting Design Award, and the Best Music Design Award.
