The fourth season of "The Boys" will be aired in 2024. Amazon Prime Video has now released the first batch of posters for the fourth season. The two main characters, Homelander and The Butcher, form a sharp contrast. The former seems to have achieved a major victory under the spotlight, while the latter is dejected and seems to have experienced some major setbacks.

At the end of The Boys Season 3, Homelander endorsed presidential candidate Robert Singer and vice presidential candidate Victoria Neuman. If these images are any indication, it looks like election day will go in their favor.

This is obviously bad news for The Butcher and his team, and in the poster The Butcher can be seen standing among falling balloons and confetti, his disappointment evident.

Previously, "The Boys" program coordinator Eric Kripke revealed that the timeline of "The Boys" Season 4 is very close to the last episode of "V Generation", and Homelander and The Butcher appeared in the last episode.

“In our vision, season 4 takes place just a few days after the events of Generation V,” Kripke said. “We try to keep the timeline very simple because I think other comic book universes would get confused by trying to make the timeline complicated. So they’re all separate.”

It’s like there was The Boys Season 3, then there was V-Gen, then there was The Boys Season 4. Then there was V-Gen Season 2. It’s more like a train car than a plate of spaghetti.”

Kripke also revealed that the V Generation virus will be "a very important part of The Boys Season 4" and the production team is very much hoping that "The Butcher will realize this."
