Sanrio, which owns several classic virtual pet IPs, announced today that its most well-known cute virtual pet "Hello Kitty" will enter Hollywood for the first time to produce a movie. Its partners include New Line Cinema, which has released films such as "The Lord of the Rings" and "Rampage".

Hello Kitty was born in 1974. Sanrio planned to launch a small wallet with a new character on it. When Kitty's first-generation designer, Yuko Shimizu, first thought of the animals that children like, which are bears, dogs and cats, this little white cat with a red bow appeared on the wallet. Incredibly, this little cat became popular.

Sanrio President Shintaro Tsuji said that the fact that the company's most popular virtual pet "Hello Kitty" can be adapted into a Hollywood movie is good news for both the company and the players who love her, and it can further deepen the friendship between "Hello Kitty" and players around the world.
