The price of Spring Festival movies has been reduced to as low as 30 yuan! Including "The Bridge at the End of the World"

The National Film Administration recently released data showing that from the New Year's Eve on January 31, 2022 to the sixth day of the first lunar month on February 6, my country's movie box office reached 6.035 billion yuan, a sharp drop from 7.84 billion yuan last year. The total number of moviegoers was 114 million, a drop of nearly 30% from 160 million last year, or about 46 million.

High ticket prices have become a factor in discouraging audiences. Ticket prices of over 100 yuan have kept many audiences out of the theater, resulting in a 46 million decrease in the total number of moviegoers during the Spring Festival compared to the same period last year.

Some film producers have chosen to lower their release prices in an attempt to attract audiences. On February 5, the movie Sniper announced that it would lower its minimum settlement price with theaters to 35 yuan per person for Class A and 30 yuan per person for Class B, a reduction of 5 yuan each. This is also the first film among the eight new films released during the Spring Festival this year to lower its price limit.
