Netizens choose the male lead of the live-action movie "Snow White": He is prettier than the princess

According to Deadline, Disney has announced the lead actor for the live-action version of Snow White: Andrew Burnap. However, his role is not a prince or a hunter, but a newly created character who also has a singing part.

Andrew Burnap recently won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role in Succession. He has also starred in other plays, such as The Companion, Vacant Room, and The Legendary Story of Georgia McBride. After the announcement of the male lead, netizens said: "The male lead is better looking than the female lead" and "Who can resist a stepmother!"

The live-action movie of "Snow White" is directed by Marc Webb, with Rachel Zegler playing Snow White and Gal Gadot playing the villain, the evil queen. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the songwriters of "La La Land" and "The Greatest Showman", will create new songs for it. This live-action version is adapted from the 1937 classic animation, Disney's first animated feature film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The queen is jealous of the princess's beauty and uses a trick to trick her into eating a poisoned apple.
