Colleen Hoover's "Remember Him" will be made into a movie and will be released in North America in February 2026

Following the successful release of Love, So Far by Sony Pictures, another novel by "American short video novel king" Colin Hoover, Reminders Of Him, will also be adapted for the screen. Although the director or starring role has not yet been determined, Universal Pictures won the project after fierce competition and directly scheduled it for release in North America on February 13, 2026.

The original "Reminders of Him" tells the story of Kenna Rowan who returns to her small town after serving a five-year prison sentence, hoping to reunite with her 4-year-old daughter, even though everyone wants them to be separated. The only person who has not alienated Kenna is the owner of a local bar, Ledger Ward, who is one of the few connections between Kenna and her daughter. Kenna and Ledger build a connection under pressure, but as their love heats up, so do the risks. Kenna must find a way to correct the mistakes of her past in order to build a future full of hope and healing.

Colin Hoover will co-write the screenplay with Lauren Levine. "I'm so excited to be working with Universal Pictures to bring Kenna Rowan's world to life. So many readers have told me that they identify with her story of coping with tragedy, healing and moving on despite her chaotic life," said Hoover. "I'm thrilled because Reminders of Him holds a special place in my heart, and I believe Universal Pictures is the perfect partner to tell this story."
