Will there be Shang-Chi in Doctor Strange 2? Shang-Chi actor Simu Liu responds

Previously, Marvel released the first trailer for Doctor Strange 2. Since the subtitle of Doctor Strange 2 is Multiverse of Madness, there are many different opinions about the characters in the movie, including the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and various popular characters in the current MCU, one of which is Shang-Chi.

Friends who have watched "Shang-Chi" know that at the end of the movie, the Supreme Sorcerer King took Shang-Chi to a certain Sanctum Sanctorum. Including Captain Marvel and Dr. Banner, they discussed the origin of the Ten Rings together. So many fans think that Shang-Chi will appear in "Doctor Strange 2".

In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Simu Liu responded to this question: "Even if I was in that movie (which I wasn't), I would never say it out loud. This is all I can say."

Marvel fans believe that the time is ripe for Shang-Chi and Doctor Strange to merge. Although the actor denied it, it does not mean that Shang-Chi will not appear in "Doctor Strange 2". Because before the release of "Spider-Man 3", Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also denied participating in "Spider-Man 3". So Marvel actors will abide by Marvel's rules no matter what.
