The filming location of the fifth season of "The Witcher" first started in Cape Town, South Africa, and then moved to Devon, Gloucestershire and other places in the UK. Netflix plans to finish filming in October. The main actors include Liam Hemsworth, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and new actors.

Usually, filming for The Witcher series begins at Longcross Studios in the UK, but this time the producers used a location created specifically for the spin-off series Szczury (Rat Pack). This is because the two projects will share some locations, including the city where Hofnar is located.
