Behind the scenes of "The Jade Face Love Demon" will be released in North America on December 17

Guillermo del Toro's new film "The Jade Lady" has released a special edition, with behind-the-scenes footage exposed for the first time, and the main creators appearing to interpret the film. Starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Rooney Mara, Willem Dafoe, Ron Perlman, Richard Jenkins, David Strathairn, etc., the film will be released in North America on December 17.

The film tells the story of a greedy con man who conspires with a female psychiatrist to defraud patients of their money. An ambitious con man falls in love with a psychiatrist, but ends up being manipulated by the female doctor.

The film aims to be an R-rated movie (US restricted, violent), and Toro himself explained: "The film is very dark." And there is no supernatural element that he is good at. The film is adapted from the 1946 novel of the same name, not the 1947 film, which was described as "the most ruthless black film in Hollywood" at the time.

Toro said that he first saw the novel, which was given to him by "Hellboy" Ron Perlman in 1992, and he had always wanted to make a black film. This will also be his first time to shoot a film truly about the dark side of society.
