According to foreign media reports, the script of Ang Lee's new film "Bruce Lee" has been completed and is scheduled to start shooting in early 2025. The film's development has gone through twists and turns, and the script has been polished countless times. The initial version of the script was written by Jean-Christophe Castelli, the screenwriter of "Life of Pi", as well as Law Kei-luk and Mabel Cheung; then, the script was passed on by several screenwriters, and the final version of the script was written by Dan Futterman.

Ang Lee has devoted many years to this project. It was reported that the film would start shooting in 2017, but it failed to take shape. In addition, Bruce Lee will be played by Ang Lee's son Lee Chun. For this role, Lee Chun received five years of martial arts, physical fitness and body training. This biographical film will be based on the movie "Enter the Dragon" as the central axis. According to producer Lawrence Gray, this biopic directed by Ang Lee will tell the story of Bruce Lee in an unconventional narrative way.
