The light novel "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" written by Fushige and illustrated by Mitsuba was first serialized on the "Let's Become Novelists" website in February 2013.

With the number of online hits exceeding 140 million, the work has also been adapted into a comic and animation of the same name, and many spin-off works have been spawned. The animation has currently released three seasons of content, and the plot has advanced to the "Founding of the Magic City" in the novel.

Recently, the official released the production trailer of the second theatrical version of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime", and also announced the news that the fourth season of the animation has been confirmed to be produced.
