"Changjin Lake" box office exceeded 5.6 billion, audience reached 119 million+, and the sequel was mostly filmed

Today (November 9), the film "Changjin Lake", which was released for 40 days, has accumulated a box office of over 5.6 billion yuan, with more than 119 million viewers. The film is less than 100 million yuan away from the box office champion of Chinese film history, "Wolf Warrior 2".

"The Battle at Lake Changjin" is directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark, and Lin Chaoxian, and stars Wu Jing and Yi Yang Qianxi. "The Battle at Lake Changjin" will be released in Hong Kong and Macau, China on November 11.

Judging from the current global box office rankings, "Changjin Lake" has locked in the title of 2021 global box office champion, followed by "Hello, Li Huanying" and "Fast and Furious 9", and "Detective Chinatown 3" ranks fourth.

The sequel to "The Battle at Lake Changjin", "The Battle at Lake Changjin", has been officially announced. It is still co-directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark, and Lin Chaoxian, and co-starred by Wu Jing, Yi Yang Qianxi, Zhu Yawen, Li Chen, Hu Jun, Duan Yihong, Han Dongjun, and Zhang Hanyu.

Due to the change of seasons, some scenes will be filmed in winter. After the winter of this year, all the main creators will gather again to continue filming the remaining parts.
